Graduate Student Assistant Position – Office of the Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs
Rossier School of Education


The Office of Faculty Affairs in the Rossier School of Education seeks a reliable, self‐motivated, detail‐oriented, organized and responsible graduate student to assist in the administrative operations of the office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Distribution of blank evaluation forms and envelopes to all program offices
-Tracking of faculty evaluation forms within Rossier School of Education’s academic programs
-Send all completed faculty evaluations out for processing
-Download electronic faculty evaluations for the online courses offered at Rossier
-Distribution of completed evaluations to Rossier faculty
-Prepare/generate copies of Dossiers and other paperwork
-Create and organize electronic filing system for existing hard copy files to facilitate ease of document retrieval
-Data entry for reports and/or presentations, as requested
-Deliver documents, outgoing/incoming to their respective destinations i.e. Mail Stop, University Village,         Real Estate Office
-Retrieve reimbursement checks issued to faculty/staff from Disbursement Control

Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be prompt, willing to work hard and dependable with a professional demeanor. Candidate will be handling documents with highly sensitive information and confidentiality is a requirement of the position.

This is a paid position with a starting hourly rate of $15/per hour. Field work hours can be arranged upon the student’s request and agreement of the student’s academic program and advisor. Hours for the position are 4 hours per day, Monday – Thursday with the possibility of an occasional Friday, depending on workload. This position is currently being offered in the summer with the potential of being extended through the fall 2012 term.
