Student Achievement Interns at Long Beach City College

Hello:

You may have heard of the position of Student Achievement Coach (now “Student Achievement Intern”) at Long Beach City College. We now have an application process set up through the college’s website. Please navigate to the following URL: http://agency.governmentjobs.com/lbcc/default.cfm.

Once there, you can scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, where the open positions are located. You should easily be able to find a listing titled “Academic – Student Achievement Intern.” Click it, and you’ll see the job description along with the word “Apply.”

Currently, we are thinking that those who are hired into the position can earn either graduate credit (if they require hours of some kind to complete a program of study) or a stipend of $1,000 for the semester.

Finally, please note the qualifications for the job: applicants can be undergraduate seniors or graduate students who can verify their proof of enrollment, OR they can hold a Master’s degree in any subject.

If you know of anyone who qualifies and might be interested, please help us by spreading the word!

Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions.
