Job Description:
The MAT Program is currently offering a rewarding position for a student worker who is interested in a professional development opportunity working with the MAT Academic Advising Team. The student worker will perform basic administrative tasks, expected to prepare and review written correspondence, responsible for independent projects, perform routine data entry, respond to daily student inquiries via email and phone, and complete other duties as assigned. The student worker will be working alongside staff members in the AT&T Building in downtown LA, which is easily accessible from the USC University Park Campus.The student worker will primarily be assisting the Academic Advising Team and our MAT Placement Coordinator.

Start dates are flexible, however with certainty we are looking for people who can work with us through the whole summer term. There may be a potential opportunity to be employed during the fall term as well. (Please let us know if you are interested in this at the time of application.
Qualifications:
The student worker must be able to work independently with little supervision in a fast paced environment, have a high attention to detail, be professional and proactive. Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, internet and basic computer functions is required; willingness to be based at the AT&T building downtown with some interaction with the main USC campus. Knowledge of FERPA, University policy and/or teacher preparation is a plus but not required.
