Volunteer opportunity at USC - Women's Youth Empowerment Conference

LGSA is helping organize, in conjunction with TRiO programs at USC, the Women's Youth Empowerment Conference and we are looking for volunteers. The purpose of this day-long conference is to give high school girls from the South Los Angeles area the opportunity to attend workshops and gain knowledge on topics such as education, careers, positive body image and self-esteem, and mental health.

The conference will be taking place on Wednesday, March 30th from 8:30am-3:00pm.

We are looking for volunteers to assist throughout the day with leading groups from workshop to workshop, to provide supervision during lunch, or to help with leading reflection groups in regards to the day's events after the workshop sessions. You do not need to be available the whole day, if you can volunteer a few hours, that would be great.
