ATTENTION Graduate Students!
Hello! I am Jaclyn Hugg, the Graduate Student Liaison for the 2011 NASPA Western Regional Conference which will be held November 16-19, 2011 at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, CA. The theme of the conference is Anthology, defined as “a diverse collection of practices, priorities and values, grounded in the learning of yesterday and today, and committed to the promotion of student learning and success today and tomorrow." All program proposals must address the theme of the conference.
I will be your main point of contact from now through the conference, and I wanted to start our partnership by first encouraging you to check out the Call for Programs (attached) that was recently released. As many of you are involved with various research projects and professional development initiatives through your graduate work and/or employment, you have a lot to offer the conference and its participants! I hope you will consider submitting a program proposal. Proposals are due by May 31, 2011.
