Paid internship in the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies in the Marshall School of Business
This position assists the staff of the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies in event planning and execution of activities for the 2011-2012 academic year. Events will include the following: Global Entrepreneur Center Director Conference (GCEC) Fall 2011 and the student Business Plan Competitions and the Venture Capitalist Investment Competition (VCIC) Spring 2012.
This position will require approximately 20-30 hours/week normally and up to 40 hours/week in August until the end of the GCEC conference in October. We will be flexible and accommodate student needs and class schedule.
Examples of assistant activities are below:
· Liaison with the Center event guests such as students and scholars of various academic institutions
· Serves as a resource for information before and during the conference. Assist in problems or questions referred by program staff and participants
· Maintain and manage procedures to facilitate conference/competition operations
· Develop and maintain automated or manual RSVP list from guests
· Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
