Student Worker position for the MAT@USC Program

The MAT@USC Office is currently searching for a student worker to assist us in the City Center building (in downtown Los Angeles close to LA Live). Note that this position is indeed part of Rossier School of Education, but it is simply housed in a different location. Job Description: The MAT Program is currently offering a rewarding position for a student worker who is interested in a professional development opportunity. The student worker will perform basic administrative tasks, expected to prepare and review written correspondence, responsible for independent projects, respond to daily student inquiries via email and phone, and complete other duties as assigned. The student worker will also be working with staff members in the AT&T Building in downtown LA, which is easily accessible from the USC University Park Campus.

Qualifications: The student worker must be able to work independently with little supervision in a fast paced environment, have a high attention to detail, be professional and proactive. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, internet and basic computer functions is required; willingness to be based at the City Center building downtown with some interaction with the main USC campus. Knowledge of FERPA, University policy and/or teacher preparation is a plus.
