I am currently offering our fourth Self Esteem/Teen Empowerment Workshop in Westchester and Pasadena in collaboration with Westchester High School and Blair High School! Many of the participants and their parents have noticed significant changes in their attitude and have developed more positive perspectives on their lives. At this time, I would like to offer an exciting volunteer fieldwork opportunity to your counseling interns. This structured reoccurring ten-week workshop and its behavioral techniques service students in the Los Angeles community ages 14-18. Our workshops normally meet with 10-12 students per workshop for two hours weekly. We service teen girls and boys separately.
Making the Right Choices:
This ten-week workshop will explore topics that will empower young people to be their very best, while also seeking to mentor others! Participants will meet once a week, volunteer in the community, enjoy a Teenagers' Night Out, and receive a culminating certificate of completion.
Ten-Week Series includes:
· Introduction: Life is full of Choices, Mentors, and Distractions
· What You Wear, What You Say, How You Live Sets Your Pathway
· Healthy Eating Feeds The Body, Healthy Speaking Feeds the Soul
· Good Friends, Great Attitude, Strong Discipline = SUCCESS
· Dating Requires Character, Values and Healthy Self Esteem
· You Are a Work in Progress, Time to Step Out into Your Destiny!
