Announcing Region 9 Conference & the NACADA Research Symposium!
It's time to make your plans to join us in Las Vegas, March 7-9 for the Region 9 Conference and stay for the Research Symposium if you like! Visit our Region website at http://www.nacada.ksu.edu/Regional_Divisions/region9/index.htm for up-to-date registration info, hotel reservation details, and the Conference At-A-Glance Schedule including the pre-conferences and concurrent sessions that will be presented.
In addition to several pre-conference workshops and a welcome reception on Wednesday March 7, concurrent sessions will begin early on Thursday relating to technology, peer advising, sophomore experience, campus collaboration, advisor professional development and a wide variety of student populations.
NACADA is also sponsoring a Research Symposium which will be held Friday afternoon and Saturday, following our conference. Registration for this is very limited, so you will want to plan now to attend.
We encourage you to register and reserve your hotel room before the early discount date of February 22. The hotel may fill up before that date, so don't delay with that. You may remember we were at the Tropicana last time we were in Vegas. It has been completely remodeled and will be a great spot for our return!
