Assistant Director, TRiO Scholars Program (Student Support Services)
The University of Nevada, Reno seeks an enthusiastic assistant director for the federally funded TRiO Scholars Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting low income and first generation students to become successful UNR graduates. The assistant director is primarily responsible for creating a dynamic, cutting edge academic support program based on the individual needs of the 175 participants in the program. We are particularly interested in a candidate who is also able to teach and tutor introductory mathematics. The assistant director will assist the director with all aspects of program assessment. This position is grant funded through August 31 of 2015. Continued funding beyond this date will depend upon submitting a successful grant application.
