Hello,
We have a graduate internship opportunity at West LA College (a
community college in Culver City). The position is for about 20 hours per
week and would pay $13-16 per hour. To qualify, the student has to be
enrolled as a grad student at a university.
Assistant to the “Designated School Official” (DSO) responsible
for processing international student admissions documents at a community
college in Culver City. The assistant will be responsible for the
following:
1. Answering
general inquiries from international students through phone or email
2. Data
entry and filing
3. Checking
application packets for completeness and following up with international
students for missing information
4. Assistance
with marketing efforts (envelope stuffing, occasional coordination help with
international student events, etc…)
5. Other
duties as assigned
Any experience in international student admission to higher
educational institutions is preferred, though not required.
