Marshall Undergraduate Admissions Graduate Assistant


USC Marshall Office of Undergraduate Admissions – Graduate Assistant Position Available          
The Marshall School of Business Office of Undergraduate Admissions is looking to hire a graduate assistant to join our team of recruitment professionals.  This position will support and work closely with the Marshall Undergraduate Admissions staff.  

We are searching for a commitment of approximately 18 hours per week (regular office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm) with occasional evening availability. The compensation would be $13-$15 per hour and applicants must have a Federal Work-study award.

Graduate Assistant responsibilities include:
  • Managing a sophisticated, personalized communication database
  • Communicating admission requirements to prospective students and their families
  • Conducting Marshall building tours for prospective students
  • Working both independently and under direct supervision of admission staff
  • Other projects as assigned
Applicants must possess the following:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: particularly in Word and Excel 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or experience with other database programs
  • Leadership abilities
  • Customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • A team-player attitude
  • Be responsible and reliable
  • Be flexible in a busy office environment
