Aaron Jones is an Assistant Resident Director in Housing, Dining, & Residential Services at the University of California Riverside and serve as the University of California Constituency Representative for the California College Personnel Association (CCPA). He would like to spread the word about CCPA and the affordable and valuable upcoming Professional Development Opportunity for you, your staff, and fellow colleagues. They are hosting a 1-day institute on October 12, 2012 titled "Innovation in Higher Education" at LMU in Los Angeles. The institute is affordable at $40 for non-members and $20 for members.
CCPA is associated with the national organization of American College Personnel Association (ACPA). Both organizations offer a variety of professional development and networking opportunities in the field of higher education. CCPA values learning, collaboration and social justice and I found myself drawn to an organization that I felt was truly invested in good, quality, and affordable professional development initiatives that would not waste my time or money.
