The 2013 National ACademic ADvising Association (NACADA) Region 9 Conference will take place at USC March 18-20, 2013. We hope you can join us! The conference theme is Lights, Camera, Action: Advise!
This year’s conference will focus on the integrative nature of advising. Just as the production of a Hollywood movie requires a director to guide movie makers in the production of the next box office hit, it is the collective efforts of student affairs professionals that guide college students in maximizing opportunities that contribute to a successful academic career.
The conference offers opportunities for participants to attend workshop sessions presented by student affairs professionals and current graduate students, as well as network with colleagues in the field of student affairs.
The NACADA Region 9 Conference seeks programs that inform participants on ways to enhance the work of advisors or programs that address current issues in advising. We are excited and encourage you to participate to share your own presentation with our region by submitting a proposal.
