The Viterbi Pre College
Outreach program MESA is currently looking for volunteers for our MESA
Madness and Family Day event. In MESA we work with 25 different Middle
Schools and High Schools with mostly disadvantaged youth to get them interested
in STEM fields. If anyone is interested in volunteering with MESA we have an
event on Saturday November 17th from 8:30am-12pm. It is an
event called MESA Madness where middle school students and their families come
to campus and do hands on science activities lead by current USC students. The
activities are set up like a carnival where middle school students get to pick
which activities they wish to do. Volunteers will be assigned an activity
to help the students with. We are expecting about 400 students and family
members this year and we need about 30 volunteers!
They can also sign off any
volunteer hours for you!
