NASPA Region VI Newsletter

Remember it’s never too early to submit an article and contribute to the Region VI Newsletter.  The following are deadlines for the Winter Issue:

Submission Deadline: Friday, February 8th by 5pm

Newsletter Distribution: Thursday, February 14th

 Here are topics from past newsletters:

• Past Award Winners: Where are they now? 
• “Save the Date” for upcoming events (include proposal & registration deadlines, cost, and primary contact information)
• Knowledge Communities Regional Representatives post conference summaries/updates (100 words or so)
• Western Regional Conference Presenters: Please provide a 150-200 word précis on your session so that those who could not attend can still benefit from your hard work.
• Annual Conference Presenters: Please provide a 150-200 word précis on your educational session
• Insight from undergraduate students
• Research & Assessment
• Leadership & Diversity
• Student Involvement, Engagement, & Development programs & services
• Pressing issues facing SA professionals: How you are confronting those issues?
• Transitions: Are there any new faces on your campus or seasoned ones who have new positions? Any valued colleagues who have left or retired?
• Grad Corner:
• Helpful tips to help you navigate through the annual conference and the placement exchange
• Western Regional Conference NPGSI/drive-in workshop reflection/experience
• Exciting things going on in your grad program and on your campus

Please email your submission in unformatted (e.g. no bolds, no underlines), in a Microsoft Word file to nasparegion6@gmail.com, as well as your contact information (name, institution, and email).   If you include any photos/pictures please save them to jpeg file when you attach them to the email.
