Job Summary
Assist with community and student development; supervise a campus residence facility and work with student staff to create a robust living and learning environment for undergraduate students.
Responsibilities
Supervise and develop a student staff of Resident Assistants. Manage student care in the residence hall; including emergency responses, counseling/advising students, and administrative follow-up. Foster an educational learning community through social events, educational programs, and presence in the residence hall. Perform administrative responsibilities for the residence hall including management of a budget and organization of housing details. Meet regularly with members of the Residence Life team.
Required Skills
Candidates should demonstrate leadership, maturity, strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational ability.
Required Experience
Experience working with college aged students and knowledge of a college campus environment is required. Direct experience in campus residence life is preferred.
Required Education
The position requires a baccalaureate degree. A master’s degree is preferred in the areas of student development, psychology, counseling, or a related field.

This is a live-in position. Compensation includes salary and housing.
