Through collaboration with students, faculty, and staff, the Advisor will be responsible for advising, supporting, and growing student-driven co-curricular sustainability outreach, engagement, and educational projects and efforts in order to promote and advance a culture of sustainability that engages Oregon State’s diverse student demographic. The Advisor position is responsible for supporting programming that will allow students to acquire and cultivate the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to lead more sustainable lifestyles and be agents of change. Along with the SSI Director, a student position, the Advisor will provide advising and supervision support to the student staff housed in the Student Sustainability Center. In cooperation with other SLI staff and the OSU Sustainability Coordinator, the Advisor will continuously develop co-curricular engagement and sustainability opportunities that meet the needs of the contemporary student population.

The Assistive Technology Consultant for DAS is responsible for providing leadership and expertise in technology access issues related to web and other technological resources. The AT consultant will provide technical support and training for the various hardware and software involved in the delivery of DAS accommodations. This position will provide leadership for the Alternative Formats (E-text, Braille) and Video Captioning.  DAS serves 1 in 31 Oregon State University students. The Assistive Technology Consultant will be a part of a team that strives to provide accommodations and works to improve accessibility campus-wide.

The ADLLC supports the establishment of intended learning outcomes and assessment instruments to evaluate the efficacy of the LLC's. A principal pedagogical objective of this position is to expand the academic experience beyond the walls of the classroom and foster out of class interaction between students, staff and faculty members so that learning takes place where students live and is viewed as an essential part of the residential experience.
