Randolph College Coordinator Position

Coordinator of Student Activities

Randolph College is seeking energetic and creative candidates for newly-created position of Coordinator of Student Activities. The successful applicant will serve as the advisor for the Macon Activities Council (student programming board), manage our new Student Center, organize College-sponsored social and recreational events, work closely with the Intramurals Program, and advise the sophomore and senior classes. The Coordinator will work with student government leaders, support clubs and organizations on campus, and assist students in planning student-sponsored events. Finally, the successful applicant will understand the value of student activities and of the motivations of students who participate in them. This position reports to the Director of Student Development in the Dean of Students Office.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred; experience working with programming and event planning, with some experience in college activities preferred; excellent written and public communication skills; flexibility in managing multiple projects simultaneously; and problem solving and organizational skills. This is a full-time, 12-month position, and the anticipated start date is July 1, 2013.
