CAREER DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR- Missouri Western State University is seeking an organized, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to fill the position of Career Development Director. This position will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the Career Development Center, staff, services and programs; and providing comprehensive career and employment services to MWSU students and alumni. Duties will include review of current procedures, development and administration of innovative programs, and collaboration with the directors of other career development offices in the St. Joseph and Kansas City area and throughout the state and the region. REQUIRED: Master’s degree in career counseling, student personnel, or related field and five years of career services and supervisory experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. PREFERRED: Candidates with experience working in a higher education environment or institution.
