Description
Star View Adolescent Center, a leader in providing diverse multidisciplinary Mental Health Services to youth who require intensive residential treatment, is seeking licensed mental health therapist (Full-Time) to provide services in our 16-bed psychiatric health facility for adolescents. This position provides psychotherapy in group services and crisis interaction to residents on the unit.
Education:
Ph.D., Psy.D. or Ed.D. in psychology is preferred.
Experience:
Prior completion of an APA accredited internship with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents in either inpatient or outpatient setting is preferred.
License or Certification:
Eligibility for Waiver as a Psychologist with the State Department of Mental Health. Registration with Board of Psychology acceptable.

Education:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, child care counseling or development from an accredited college or university is required.
Experience:
One (2) years direct service experience with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents in an inpatient or outpatient health care setting (internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).
License or Certification:
Must be a registered intern and eligible to take appropriate licensure within State mandated time limit.
-OR-
Education:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, child care counseling, education or development from an accredited college or university is required.
Experience:
Two (2) years direct service experience with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents in an inpatient or outpatient health care setting (internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).
License or Certification:
MFT (CA) or LCSW (CA)
