USC Career Center Intern Position

USC Career Center Fieldwork Intern (2 Positions)

The USC Career Center is seeking 2  graduate students from the PASA or Educational Counseling program to fill our Fieldwork Intern positions for Fall 2013. This position is an ideal opportunity for graduate students who seek to gain exposure and develop a well-rounded foundation of experience in career services.

Fieldwork interns will primarily work on career services related projects, which may include:

-Benchmarking services and best practices with peer institutions
-Research on career services for various student populations
-Develop new resources or programs
-Conduct student outreach and engagement
-Assist with marketing Career Center events and resources
-Assist with planning and marketing alumni events

Fieldwork projects will be assigned based on interns’ interests and as their schedule allows.

Fieldwork interns may be asked to assist with resume and cover letter review during peak walk-in advising hours.  As such, fieldwork interns are expected to utilize appropriate advising skills and follow ethical guidelines when assisting students.
