Champlain College is looking for two new Area Coordinators. Champlain College is a small private professional focused institution located on scenic Lake Champlain in Burlington, VT.  Below is the job description:

Champlain College seeks a live-in professional staff member whose primary responsibility is to facilitate campus programming, create community in the residence halls, and retain students. Create an environment where students will be safe, craft opportunities for students to connect and engage in the College community and support students in their efforts to be successful. Manage the day-to-day operation of a residential area, supervise and advise a staff of Resident Assistants, a variety of student groups, create and implement campus activities, and ensure the delivery of quality educational and social programming. Serve in the on-duty rotation and provide support to Resident Assistants and students during time of emergency, crisis or other needs for assistance. Have a focused area of specialty which could include Diversity, Social, Athletic or Leadership Programming as well as Operations and Judicial Affairs. Additionally, serve as conduct officers and meet with students who have allegedly violated Champlain College policy and serve on a variety of committees that impact the direction of the Department of Residential Life
