Graduate Assistant - USC School of Social Work Office of Admissions & Scholarship Programs



The USC School of Social Work Office of Admissions and Scholarship Programs seeks a graduate assistant to work with prospective and incoming students at the USC School of Social Work.

Position Description:
The Graduate Assistant position with the USC School of Social Work provides an excellent opportunity for graduate student to gain experience in university admissions. Following the cycle of the admissions process, the primary tasks involve helping with admission processing and admissions yield activities in the spring.

Responsibilities:
-Working with prospective Master of Social Work students to guide through the application process
-Application processing and data entry
-Data analysis
-Tracking student data
-Assisting with marketing efforts

Ideal candidate:
-High level of interpersonal and communication skills
-Interest in college admissions and operations
-Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Knowledge of SIS (Student Information System)
-Team player
-Detail oriented
-Previous office administrative experience (preferred)
-Must be a current graduate student (not open to MSW students)

Approximately 20 hours/week.
