Instructional Design Student Worker Position
Job Description:
Students will be responsible for assisting Instructional Designers in uploading course content into asynchronous learning platforms. Occasionally, students may be asked to assist in facilitating WebEx synchronous sessions for faculty members on an as needed basis.

Students are not expected to know but must be able to quickly learn the Marshall LMS (currently Blackboard, moving to Canvas), rapid authoring tools used to develop online courses, and video conferencing tools (currently WebEx). Students must be proficient in reading and writing technical language and should be able to proof copy before uploading content into courses. Students should also be proficient in developing graphics with Power Points or other tools such as Photoshop. Students should be comfortable verbally troubleshooting technical issues in a real-time, online environment.

Note: This position will require students to work at the ATT building during normal business hours.

Required Skills:
Proficient in speaking and writing English at a university level
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point

Recommended Skills:
Familiar with Photoshop
Familiar with Blackboard

Familiar with WebEx
