FutureBound (part time intern)
FutureBound is looking for a part-time intern (6-12 hours per week) to support the Company’s social media activities. The position may transition to permanent/full-time upon graduation.
Skills required for this position include creating and curating content related to college readiness/access for high school students. Experience with some of the more popular social media tools for the education market—Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, and Instagram—is also required. Prior experience as a teacher or counselor (or similar position) is preferred. This is a paid internship and salary will be based on experience and skills.
FutureBound (previously known as Collegeology) was founded five years ago at USC. The Company provides a highly innovative and research-based suite of educational video games that have been proven to develop the skills needed to master the college readiness and entry process and to succeed in college and beyond. FutureBound’s games are based on a multi-disciplinary collaboration between Rossier’s Pullias Center (Profs. Bill Tierney and Zoe Corwin) and USC’s Game Innovation Lab (Prof. Tracy Fullerton).
