Norman Topping Student Aid Fund Volunteer Opportunity (Governing Board Representative)

Dear Student Leaders:

We want to tell you about an opportunity to join an organization that has been making a difference on the USC campus for over 40 years!

The USC Norman Topping Student Aid Fund (NTSAF) is the only student-initiated, student-funded, and primarily student-administered scholarship in the nation. The NTSAF assists students with high financial need who demonstrate an extraordinary level of community awareness in their pursuit of higher education at the University of Southern California.

The Topping Fund is administered by a Governing Board composed of 12 voting student members, USC alumni, and representatives from the local community, faculty and Offices of Admission and Financial Aid who select the Topping Scholars and oversee the long term policies of the Topping Scholarship for a two year term.

A highly selective position, student representatives gain service to the University and local community, interact with strong applicants and student scholars, participate in recruitment and outreach activities, and network with student leaders, faculty, and staff.

The NTSAF Governing Board is looking for dedicated leaders to continue the legacy of the Topping Fund by becoming student representatives! If you are interested, please complete the attached application and submit it to our office in the Tutor Campus Center, Suite 425 by Wednesday, September 7th at 5pm.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us at ntsaf@usc.edu and visit our website at www.usc.edu/ntsaf.

Fight On!
