Admissions and Scholarship Programs
The USC School of Social Work Office of Admissions and
Scholarship Programs seeks a graduate assistant to work with prospective and
incoming students.
Responsibilities:
-Working with prospective Master of Social Work students to
guide through the application process
-Processing applications and monitoring review process
-Communicating details of program to students via telephone,
email and in person
-Assisting with database management - conduct data entry and
data analysis
-Representing Office of Admissions at recruitment events
-Assisting with marketing efforts
-Assisting with scholarship review coordination
-Grant writing/scholarship research
Ideal candidate:
-High level of interpersonal and communication skills
-Interest in college admissions and recruiting
-Proficient in Word, Excel
-Knowledge of SIS (Student Information System)
-Team player
-Detail oriented
-Previous office administrative experience (preferred)
-Available 20 hours/week
-Must be a current graduate student (not open to MSW
students)
Work schedule: 20 hours/week
Compensation: work study or 3 units/semester
