The Office of Student Leadership & Service and the Division of Campus Life is accepting applications for Associate Director, Community Engagement and Student Leadership. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a personal commitment to and a passion for social justice education, student development, and service learning. Four+ years of experience post-masters with a degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, or similar preferred.
The role of the Associate Director is to support the Office of Student Leadership & Service staff and Director in leading an extensive and robust community engagement portfolio. As a primary responsibility, this position manages all aspects of the Volunteer Emory (VE) program, providing the Emory community with service opportunities that promote learning about self and society while meeting the needs identified by agency partners. Additionally, this role will continue to help connect the value of leadership education in service endeavors, and the importance of service in the work of leadership development.
