Assistant Director, Programming Work with the Student Activities Board, diverse student groups and university departments in major event and entertainment planning (homecoming, concerts, popular culture, performing arts, art gallery curating, lectures, multicultural programs, etc.). Directly responsible for entertainment contract negotiations. Provides guidance and leadership to student organizations for planning and executing campus events encompassing cultural, entertainment, social, and recreational activities. Responsible for development, management, and presentation of seminars in leadership development, promotion and publicity, event planning, risk management, and personal development for student leaders and advisors. Work closely with student led promotions, publicity, market research and design teams for major (and minor) campus and community programs. Assistant Director, Leadership Education
Leadership Education in the Office of Student Involvement provides curricular and co-curricular opportunities for student leadership giving both theoretical frameworks and practical knowledge and skills. As the Assistant Director for Leadership Education, you will have the opportunity to be a key part of program development, delivery and assessment. This will include advising a leadership ambassadors student organization, delivering workshops, and other leadership programs offered by our office such as conferences, lectures, and class presentations.
