About KU Student Housing: The Department of Student Housing at KU has 8 residence halls, 12 scholarship halls, and a large apartment community housing a total of over 5,000 students and families. The Complex Director (CD) position is a full time, 12 month live-in position with primary responsibility for managing a residential area, housing between 500-1000 students, and the supervision of 2-6 graduate students enrolled in the higher education program, as well as full-time administrative staff. Complexes vary in physical size, structure, student population, and programmatic emphasis.
