Destination
Science's summer programs are bursting with innovative, imaginative, creative
and unexpected scientific adventures just waiting to be shared.
Science at
Destination Science is all about the AHA! moments in life when a child figures
out how something works, is able to design an invention, or golf into the solar
system. Destination Science provides a fun, safe, and unique environment for
exploration where we build robots, rockets, and roller coasters with kids ages
5-11 and find those "AHA!" SCIENCE moments. We help you build your
science knowledge, confidence & creativity when you spend a summer working
with us.
We are
looking for teachers who are ENERGETIC and ENTHUSIASTIC, have experience with
children ages 5 to 11, and enjoy science.
Ideal
candidates are current classroom teachers and credential candidates who has
experience with teaching 15 or more kids in a camp or classroom setting who
available full time for 3-8 weeks this summer (June - Aug), Monday - Friday ,
8am-4pm. Part Time positions are available 7:45am-1pm or 12pm-5:30pm.
Applicants
MUST be available to attend 3 days of pre-summer training AND be available at
least 3 weeks this summer in June, July and August.
-We provide
teachers with all the curriculum and materials.
-Teachers
will teach 4 science stations daily and assist the team in organizing and
supervising outdoor games, activities & creative challenges.
