Field Work Position
Position Title: Graduate Intern
Department: Annenberg Undergraduate Advisement and Academic Services

Annenberg School offers four undergraduate majors and eight minors while
serving over 2,000 students.
Job Description
Graduate assistants support the
advisement staff in several areas and receive extensive on-the-job training
that includes participation in Advising 101, SIS and the advising database. This is a great position for students
interested in pursuing a career in academic advisement. Job responsibilities
may include, but are not limited to, then following:
-Advise undergraduate majors during the mandatory advisement periods
-Assist in coordinating of AAAS’s student activities including the study break and welcome reception
-Advise undergraduate majors during the mandatory advisement periods

Qualifications
Graduate Assistant must be
enrolled in a graduate program
through the USC Rossier School
of Education
and registered for EDHP 587 Field Work in Higher, Adult and Professional Education. Course credit is required. This is an
unpaid position.
Requirements
-Excellent written and verbal skills
-Two-semester commitment (fall and spring). Must be available to work on Mondays
-Must attend all training sessions (dates TBD)
-Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media
-Can-do attitude required
Hours: maximum of 20 hours per week.
