University of Vermont, Student Advisor for College of Nursing and Health Sciences

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Vermont invites applications for the position of Student Advisor, in the Office of Student Services.  This exempt-level position will serve as an academic advisor to first-year students and perform activities related to recruitment, retention, and delivery of academic services to students in support of CNHS goals. The position performs enrollment management functions that contribute to student success, satisfaction, and retention in CNHS programs; conducts needs assessment, recommends objectives and evaluates outcomes; and provides information and collaborates with internal and external communities. THIS IS A ONE-YEAR POSITION at 1.0 FTE.  Requirements: Bachelor's degree and two to four years related experience, demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, and effective communication skills; written and oral.
