We are an educational consulting firm looking for a Korean or Chinese-speaking, capable professional to join our team for the long term. This is an excellent opportunity for young professionals interested in the education industry. Candidates must have excellent customer service and management skills, as well as the ability to get along well with multiple types of personalities, varying by students of different interests and backgrounds. You will be assisting in meeting and guiding students through monthly tasks assigned by the director. This is an eclectic working position that requires you to be a multi tasker and flexible in both your schedule and your routine, including transportation (capable of commuting to one or some of the following locations: Downtown LA, Irvine, Diamond Bar). This means you must be responsible and able to follow directions, but also work independently. Be computer literate as well as have a basic familiarity with standard office equipment (copier, fax, etc.). You must uphold a professional manner, organized and have strong sense of discretion.
This is a full-time position, ranging from Monday through Saturday, ranging anytime from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (time and dates vary by scheduling with students). Accepted candidates will begin training immediately! Experiencein teaching; major or minor in education or related fields is a plus. Previous experience working with high school student settings is suggested. Essay revising skills is also a plus. Compensation scaled upon review. Training basis wage will upgrade to full-time position and salary based upon performance.
