New Career Resources for the 2014-15 School Year
We are pleased to announce two new career resources that have been designed to meet the unique needs of USC Rossier students.

USC Rossier recently launched connectRossier which functions as an extension of connectSC, the USC Career Center's career management system. For those of you who have used connectSC you are aware of many of the system features including job postings; employer research tools; document storage (resumes, cover letters); and email alerts when jobs are posted matching student's career interests.
The new connectRossier system is customized to better serve Rossier student and alumni needs. For instance, while all job postings listed in connectSC are accessible in connectRossier, education-focused job postings can now be "affiliated" with "USC Rossier" enabling students and alumni to quickly access and search for relevant jobs. Instructions for customizing your search will appear on-screen in the job postings section.
In addition, the home screen and drop down menus in connectRossier are customized to include Rossier-developed career resources such as handouts on resumes, cover letters, interviewing, job search strategies, etc.; links to additional career resources and job posting sites; and career services-related announcements.
Students can access connectRossier from the new Rossier Career Services website (rossiercareers.usc.edu). You will be prompted to enter your USC Net ID and password to access the system. Please be sure to bookmark the site so you can easily access it going forward. As part of the initial login process, you will be required to complete your profile before gaining access to the job postings and other system features. If you already have a profile on connectSC, your profile information will transfer over to connectRossier.
Career Management 101 Module
The Career Management 101 Module is designed to provide Rossier students with targeted career resources in an easy-to-navigate format. You can choose to navigate the module in sequential order (similar to an online class or presentation) by using the navigation buttons on each screen. Alternatively, you can skip to specific sections and resources by using the menu bar located at the top of the screen.
The resources are divided into 5 areas - Job Search Strategy, Resumes, Cover Letters, Interviewing, and Networking. Each topic area includes critical information, links to Rossier-specific handouts and links to external resources and articles.
