Graduate Student Position Available within Athletics:
Women’s
Volleyball
The
Athletic Department at USC is seeking a Graduate Manager for the Women’s
Volleyball Program for the upcoming season. This position will assist in all day
to day operations of running the program. Tasks are wide ranging from
fundraising and administrative duties to assisting with all practices and games.
We are seeking a graduate manager for the 2014-2015 season who would be
available to work up to 20 hours a week at a pay rate of $14.42 an hour. The
student will receive 4 units of free tuition and will have to be enrolled in an
additional 4 units to be a full-time student (8 units total per semester).
Responsibilities
for the position include but are not limited to:

Assist in scheduling, travel arrangements, and visiting opponent
needs
·
Assist in practice and game preparation
·
Assist the coaching staff with gym and office duties
·
Participate in all practices
·
Assist with game management, team warm-up and stats at all
volleyball matches
·
Assist Head Women’s Volleyball Coach with day-to-day operations
at home and on the road
·
Compliance with all NCAA, PAC-12, USC, and Athletic Department rules,
regulations and policies
Requirements for the position include:

Excellent verbal and written communication
abilities;
·
An understanding and appreciation of
collegiate athletics;
·
Attention to detail and strong
organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
·
Volleyball knowledge and skill
·
Currently accepted or enrolled in a
Graduate Program
