Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federally funded TRiO program instituted to help America’s youth explore adventures of higher education. By partnering with University of Southern California, ETS aids high school students with the college and financial aid application process, as well as supporting them through their individual journeys and the often tumultuous high school experience. Title: Student Program Advisor
-Assigned to a high school in Central, South Central, and Downtown Los Angeles
-Provide one on one and group academic and career advisement to ETS students
-Assist students with college, FAFSA, and scholarship applications
-Assist the Academic Advisor in the implementation of workshops and other activities at the designated school sites, including field trips and some weekends
-Collaborate with the school counselor at assigned sites to effectively execute the program's and school's objectives
-Hours available: 20hrs/wk.
-Pay
rate: $13.00/hr.
