The USC Career Center is hosting a “Be A Changemaker bootcamp” bootcamp with the USC Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab, Los Angeles Community Impact (LACI) and Ashoka- the largest network of social entrepreneurs worldwide, with nearly 3,000 Ashoka Fellows in 70 countries.
This is a chance-of-a-lifetime opportunity to inspire and empower our students to make change in the world by helping them garner support for their world changing ideas, while building their resumes, and gaining impressive experience for future graduate school applications!

The USC Career Center, USC Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab, and USC Los Angeles Community Impact (LACI), in collaboration with Ashoka’s Youth Venture, is offering “Be a Changemaker Bootcamp,” an interactive evening event focused on social venture creation and skill building. Students in attendance will receiveguidance to design, develop and launch viable ventures to create social change. All undergraduate and graduate students are for students who want to change the world or have a great idea but don’t know the next steps welcome! This is a chance of a lifetime opportunity, great resume builder, and impressive experience for future graduate school applications!
Following this event, all students will be invited to submit their venture ideas at the USC/YV Social Innovation Challenge to win start-up funding and fellowship opportunities. If you have or want to develop an idea or a project to change your community and contribute to a better world, please join us on October 14, 2014 from 5:30 to 10:00 pm at The Forum in the Tutor Campus Center (TCC) (Room 450, 4th floor). Pizzas and soft drinks will be provided.
