Whether you are embarking on you first fall session or last fall session I hope your classes are going well! I am Anne Harmon a fellow graduate student and your Graduate Liaison for NASPA’s 2014 Western Regional Conference November 9th-12th, 2014 at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, California!
This year's theme is Imagine: Inspire Dreams, Transform Communities. 2014 NASPA WRC invests in the future, examines student support frameworks, affirms the solidarity of our mission, and empowers us to imagine new possibilities for the profession.
I will be your main point of contact from now through the conference, and I wanted to start our partnership by first encouraging you to check out our website and consider registering for the conference. Dorothy J. Keller Graduate Student Institute (GSI) – To Inspire: Dream to Potentiality
The GSI pre-conference will take place Sunday November 9th beginning at 1:00 pm and conclude Monday November 10th at 12:30 pm. This opportunity will allow you to gain deeper understanding of your professional brand, cultivate professional relationships, and identify your core competencies and transferable skills. I attended last year’s GSI and it truly made my conference experience complete. This opportunity is only $100 if you register by September 30th!

Resume Review
Make sure you have your latest and greatest resume printed and ready to take full advantage of the resume review. Professionals will volunteer their time to ensure you have the best version of your resume ready for the job search.
Service Learning Opportunity
This will be an off site service learning project on Day 3 (Monday, Nov. 10th) from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. What a better way decompress from GSI and get to know your colleagues than by giving back!
