Admissions Counselor I

The USC School of Cinematic Arts (SCA) Office of Student Services seeks an energetic, collaborative and detail-oriented Admissions Counselor to play a key role in the recruitment and admission of prospective SCA students. This position will serve as the first point of contact to prospective SCA applicants by providing information related to the School, programs and application process.
Some job accountabilities include:

  • Counsel applicants on admissions policies and procedures.
  • Respond to inquiries (in person, by telephone and via online communication) sent by prospective students regarding the School and admissions process.
  • Give in-person and online informational presentations regarding the School, programs and admissions process.
  • Assist in the processing/coordination of admission applications for the purpose of review by the faculty of the School.
  • Assist in coordination of admitted student programs.
  • Provide backup support and relief coverage within unit, as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
