Graduate Assistant Position - USC Gould School of Law

Graduate Assistant -- Graduate & International Programs, USC Gould School of Law

The USC Gould School of Law Graduate & International Programs department is seeking a graduate student in education, social work, public policy, or a related social science discipline, for part-time (15-20 hours/week; $13/hour) work during the fall 2015 semester, possibly longer. The Graduate Assistant will sit at the front desk of the office and answer phone calls and assist student walk-in visitors. He or she will provide student services for international students, assist with organizing student events and recruitment opportunities, perform program research, help in reviewing admission files, and other administrative functions.

Applicants should be able to begin work at some point between August 3 and August 24, 2015 through December 2015 (possibly through spring semester). Applicants should be interested in learning about higher education administration and working with international students. This is a great opportunity for a graduate student interested in education and international cultures to learn more about international student services. Please submit a resume and cover letter, which should include hours of availability to work during the fall 2015 semester, to Anne Marlenga: amarlenga@law.usc.edu
